6 Responses to Registration Confusion – Eventbrite Signups are not tickets

  1. Tom Hogan says:

Not going to lie, I was a little freaked out when I saw my name on the Not Ticket.

If we’ve already paid and registered, is there anything we need to physically bring to get access to the event?

    • John says:

Sorry Tom – I remembered to blur it out on the one email but missed the other one. I just picked one at random out of several hundred!

If you have paid and are registered you should just bring an ID and know the email you provided – we’ll have a badge printed for you to pick up.

also, this is probably my fault. apologies, wcbos peeps. proactive error made in the name of keeping people informed.

    • John says:

Not a problem. Worked well as a way to build an email list of interested folks. Later I went and edited the Eventbrite order confirmation email and “ticket” itself to be more clearly not a ticket – probably should have done that sooner.

I just don’t want folks showing up next month with Eventbrite printouts expecting us to treat them as tickets. Better safe than sorry.

I tried to register via your eventbrite form (for the beginner event)
Paypal form doesnt seem to like my zip code and/or city and state.
After 4 attempts I am looking for an alternate way to register and pay.
