Parking

Parking in Boston can be difficult, and the weekend of WordCamp also happens to be a home weekend for the Red Sox, hosting the Mariners.

Luckily, we’ve got you covered, especially if you pre-paid for parking when you registered.

Parking will be offered to WordCamp Boston Attendees at the 808 Commonwealth Avenue Lot, also known as “Lot F” (map below, click through for directions). Note that the lot can only be entered on the eastbound side of Commonwealth Avenue, headed towards downtown Boston, and the entrance is before the 808 building itself.

The lot will be attended:

  • Saturday, July 23rd from 6:00am to 2:00pm
  • Sunday, July 24th from 11:00am to 3:00pm

You will need to enter during the hours the lot is attended, and then exit by 11pm that evening.

If you purchased parking in advance, your name will be on a guest pass list the parking lot attendant will have.

If you have not purchased parking in advance, you will need to pay on entry, $8/day. Note that pay-on-entry parking will be limited: once the 808 Commonwealth Avenue lot fills up, pay-on-entry folks will be directed to the Agganis Arena garage, further up Comm Ave.

WordCamp Boston strongly encourages using public transit: take the Green Line “B” train to the BU Central stop, and you’re very close to the GSU.

My bad – link fixed now. (The MLB link was for the Red Sox schedule).
